I knew the upgrade was going take a while so once it got to the point it would need no more input I grab a few zs. When I woke up it was still installing packages but then it got to the clean up and it froze with the bar almost full. I left it alone for a while but once I was sure it was frozen I simply restarted and am now enjoying my 9.10 ubuntu. I just want the list of packages it was going to remove so I can do it manually or, instructions on what to run to do it automatically. Cheers and I hope other people find it as easy as I did.
