Hello there,

I'm really hoping someone can help - no one seems to have the same problem as me. THe problem is that system-wide, I cannot check boxes. For instance, I had to use my Mac to register with this site as I couldn't click the 'I agree' box, and I can't check Compiz on, I can't make Firefox keep me signed in on my Gmail etc etc. It's really quite frustrating, does anyone have any ideas?

I've just upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10 on a Sony Vaio VGN-N21M, everything worked perfectly before the installation, and everything seems ok now, apart from the checkbox thing, which admittedly is a bit of a big deal.

If anyone could help I'd be really grateful!

Godaddy upload page includes a check box for Overwrite Files. That check box appears properly on my Windows 7 computers (each 64 bit) but not on my Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit computer.

Is this a Firefox applet issue? Other? What need I do to have the check box function appear via Firefox on Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit?
