around 95 % through the installation i get a ubiquity error and the installation stops.this happened everytime.
The filesystem looks ok only./boot has no files.I want to see if it works by adding it to my existing menu.lst.
my /dev/sda8 is my current ubuntu filesystem./dev/sda10 is the one in which i installed 9.10.how to find uuid kernel and initrd so that i can add it manually to the menu.lst .
And is there a better way?
