View Full Version : [SOLVED] No soundcard and graphics card after update

Updated my system to 9.10 via the Alternate CD method from up to date 9.04
I now have a system that does not recognize ANY sound card, onboard or Audigy2.
ATI display driver won't activate, just keeps going back to the same screen.
The "Sound" settings in "Preferences" is not there and the "Default Soundcard" in Preferences does nothing.
Any ideas how to fix this, or is this a complete reinstall?

How should anybody have an idea when you give no details whatsoever?
