OK! I'll make this as short as possible, as I would probably guess that many people other there have this common problem.
I did a fresh install of the Karmic Koala on my Desktop PC, and everything runs smoothly --no problems.
However, when I installed it on my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525, 3GB RAM, 250 HDD, etc...), there is no grub.
I successfully restarted and logged on a few times before this error began.
The error says: Minimal BASH-like message...and nothins else, expect to press TAB with a few commands available.
PLEASE NOTE: My Ubuntu 9.10 is installed inside Windows. I didn't want to use a seperate partitions..( I guess had a hunch that something weird would happen, huh..)
If anyone knows how to make a workaround this, please, please let me know. I would really be grateful.
Thanks,
