i am using UBUNTU 9.04
when downloading a s/w its showing the following

http://www.cgsecurity.org/os/rpm.png Linux SRPM (http://www.cgsecurity.org/testdisk-6.11.3-1.src.rpm)

How will i know which to swlect out of 4???
plz be in detail..i am new to ubuntu...

First you should look if the software is available from the Ubuntu repositories, e.g. by searching in Synaptic.

If it's not choose the "Linux, kernel 2.6.x i386/x86_64" option.
