I am ready to install ubuntu 9.10

I am almost ready to install 9.10. I forgot how to install ubuntu. I want to dual boot. can someone post any screenshots of how to dual boot ubuntu with xp?

If you already have a dual boot with XP and you are running 9.04, just download the alternate CD and install the update.

My 9.04 installation was broken before couple of months ago, so I only used xp until now.

during the install process it should likely recognize that you have XP and give you the option to keep it. That is how it was with me and vista. Here is a video of a person doing it with xp http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZvWdBkrq-hM there are several of it's kind


Remember to back up important files just in case.




OR, look in to the wubi installer if you are really unsure what is going on. That, can't be messed up. It is more like installing an application in windows compared to a new operating system.
