Hello everybody,
I'm not a very expierienced linux user, and thanks to the user-friendliness of Ubuntu, i didn't have to be. I've been using ubuntu sinse 7.04 with only minor problems, most of them solvable. I'm having a baffling problem with a 9.10 clean installation.

This happens to be the first 64-bit version i've tried. I'm working on a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo laptop with Core 2 Duo processors. The problem is that 9.10 randomly restarts the laptop. The first time this happened, i was running the livecd. The second it was during the install, at about 90%. Third, fourth and fifth times were after a completed installation, while surfing with firefox, or when using synaptic to install amsn. Personally i can't find a common factor in the above cases.

Also i need to point out, that when i say "reset", i mean there is no error message. The effect is similar to a hardware reset.

Anyone else having problems like this? Or am i the only one?
