Hello, I'm new here, I couldn't find this error in the forum, so I decided to post it. I updated my sources with apt-get update, then I upgraded and at the end I restarted.
The thing is that I think the next time I started an update I had to cancel it in the middle and after that a problem started.
This caution sign appears on my toolbar next to the clock. The error message is the following:
Could not initialize the package information.
An unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.
Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following
error message:
'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList
/var/lib/apt/lists/ppa.launchpad.net_wvengen_ppa_ubuntu_dists_jaunty_ main_binary-i386_Packages, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'
