Installing 9.04 Server

I have installed 9.04 desktop sucessfully and attemted to install 9.04 server in a seperate partition. The install gets past the install Grub stage and onto "Finishing the Installation" at which point it displays 4% complete with message "Running Remove_Broken_CDRom" and hangs. I've waited up to 3 hours and it just hangs at this point. CD and Hard Disc lights are flashing but nothing more.

Can anyone help.

Its an old machine with an AMD Thunderbird chip.

This has happened again while installing Server 9.10!

Me too I'm installing 9.04 server ppc and the same thing happens. I have a different box I can try it on, going to try that this afternoon.

UPDATE: I went for lunch and when I returned the instlalation had finished. In total I left it for less than 2 hours.
