youtube CLI uploader

I am not much of a programmer, so I thought I'd throw out this request here.

I was wondering if there might be someone up for the task of writing a CLI interface for uploading videos to a active user account on youtube?

My idea is that a CLI interface would make it a nice way to be able to setup cron jobs to upload videos or easily gain access via ssh to upload videos bypassing the need for remote desktop. Any possibilities of this happening?

Interesting request. I don't think that is even possible for any third party developer to do as google handles the entire operation and provides the software(Gears) as well. I would suggest you send in this request to google, or better yet, a youtube feeback page. Very good idea, I would use a CLI youtube uploader if it existed hands down.
