i've messed around with firefox an awful lot in UNR 9.04 on my acer aspire one, with quite a few versions installed, none working particularly well. all my own fault, may i add.
SO i was going to do a clean reinstall, but with 9.10 nearly officially released i wonder if its best to clean install 9.04, then upgrade, or just install 9.1 from a usb. what is simplest for a newbie to do? i read elsewhere about someone ending up with 9.04 and 9.1 side by side, and i dont want that to happen.
also, a consideration for me is my internet connection. just moved house and my ISP is taking ages to sort things out, so i'm stuck with my works mobile broadband. when an upgrade is done, does ubuntu download the full 600 or so MB iso, or is the upgrade smaller?i dont want my boss asking about excessive bandwidth etc!
