installing ubuntu 7.10

i have successfully installed ubuntu 7.10 :KS
but before the installation is finished a messages appeared to me says security update repository not found or something like that !

what this mean and what should i do?

It's an unsupported version of Ubuntu I guess.
Get the new one. (http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu)

Really there are only three versions you should consider installing at present:
8.04 Is the current long term support version and will be supported until April 2011 (server version - April 2013).
9.04 Is the current version and will be supported for another year. Possibly more stable than 9.10 since it's been in general use for 6 months.
9.10 Will be the new 'current version' and is officially released tomorrow, and will be supported for 18 months.

All other desktop versions are now either unsupported or only have a very short support life (6 months or less). The only reason for installing any other version would be if your hardware did not work with any of the three versions listed above.

i installed 7.10 only because i have the cd and i didn't want to download the new versions because of my slow connection :(

i'm upgrading now from 7.10 to 8.04 LTS i hope it work like 7.10 :)
