Currently I am having some Video driver problem with my OLD Celeron PC with this Specs

CPU:
product: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 215 @ 1.33GHz
vendor: Intel Corp.
physical id: 0
bus info: cpu@0
version: 6.14.12
size: 1333MHz
capacity: 1333MHz
width: 32 bits
clock: 133MHz

Display:
VGA compatible controller
product: 661/741/760 PCI/AGP or 662/761Gx PCIE VGA Display Adapter
vendor: Silicon Integrated Systems [SiS]
physical id: 0
bus info: pci@0000:01:00.0
version: 04
width: 32 bits
clock: 66MHz
capabilities: pm agp agp-3.0 cap_list
configuration: latency=0

Memory:
DIMM Synchronous 533 MHz (1.9 ns)
physical id: 0
serial: 0x47CC1103
slot: DIMM0
size: 1GiB
width: 64 bits
clock: 533MHz (1.9ns)And for almost week now I have been searching the internet for solutions and I really could not find any good solutions aside to add Driver "vesa" to my xorg.conf. It really do solved my first problem but still I am having some bad issues. My PC is running so slow if it's in "Safe Graphics Mode"

Now my question is, is there anyway I can make my PC go fast even if it's running in "Safe Graphics Mode"?

Thanks in advance guys.....

Have you considered installing the fluxbox window manager?

you might want a lighter version of ubuntu , like "Lubuntu" , also turn off startup items you don't use like bluetooth, etc.
