my cat broke my laptop then the forums went down, coincidence?

The site was down due to a database error, otherwise this link will usually tell you if its down/up (http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ubuntuforums.org)

We had some issues with our sever.

It wasn't caused by Steve Balmer , nor was it caused by Apple. And no Ubuntu -Geek did not trip over the extension cord.

And the Coffee stains are unrelated.

We apologize to all concerned ,normal transmission has been resumed.
