Laptop slowed down

Recently i bought a laptop ASUS K50IJ t 3000 (2gb RAM, 320 gb hard disk) and upgraded from 9.04 to 9.10. For some days now i am noticing that especially my web browser Firefox works slower when scrolling and the overall perfomance of my computer slowed down too.

Any advice and explanation?

Check to see if your graphics card has been upgraded properly by running System -> Administration -> Hardware Drivers... This will help speed things up...

I checked and there is nothing. My lspci:
