Hi, newbie problem...help please.
I've had Ubuntu 8.04 on one SATA HDD and WinXp on another - Grub worked fine.
WinXp HDD broke (not surprisingly) and was thrown away.
New HDD installed with WinXp when Ubuntu was disconnected (long story)
Either works fine on own - when both plugged in it only booted into WinXP, I tried to reveiw forums etc and attempted to re-align Grub by editing Menu.lst.
What happens now - Grub boots and if I choose Ubuntu rather than WInXp I get Busybox or error 21 or error 17.
(oh, I tried Auto Super Grub from inside WinXP after upgrading to Ubuntu 8.10_, didn't help)
How can I just run two hard drives, just like before, using Grub to choose between OS boots??
TIA,
