after today updates the connection to the internet doesn't work

Hello,

In this morning I ade the security and important updates of Ububtu 9.04.

The manager asked for restart.

After restart the connection to the internet ( wired and wireless) didn't work anymore.

How long had it been since your last update?

Did you try booting Ubuntu in recovery mode?

Try typing the following in a console:


ping -c 10 www.google.com
Wait for a bit.
Let me know what it says.
