Hrm, that seems to be just bringing the universal binary concept to linux, which while good, is not bringing closed source mac-osx binaries to run on linux...

as from the FAQ:

Q: Does this let me run Mac OS X programs on Linux?
A: No. Apple has a file format called "Universal Binaries" that solves roughly the same problem as FatELF, but is otherwise totally different. FatELF does nothing at all to improve compatibility with Mac OS X.

The FatELF system looks like it has potential to be very useful in both the commercial & the FOSS worlds.

It is unfortunate that this thread has been so inappropriately named. :(
