Attempting a new install of 9.10 and can't get past partitioning as drive is not recognized. My WD raptor 360gd-00fla2 is working fine with 9.04 and gparted sees it and and so does gparted in the 9.10 live disk. I have modified my partitions with the 9.10 live disk. Everything disk related works with the exception of the install process. Same with the alternate disk.
TIA

If it was the 9.10 RC live CD, and if you have more than one disk or disk-like USB device, you perhaps tripped across the ubiquity bug #459054 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/459054) that some of us have reported. I'm a little surprised by the alternate install CD issue, so it might be something else. I'd wait 3 days for the production release and try again, or install 9.04, wait three weeks, and then upgrade in place after the initial bugs have shaken out.
