I just installed the standard updates to Ubuntu Remix running on my Acer Aspire One. When restarting, I got the following error after saying Ubuntu is running low-graphics mode

(EE) PSB: Failed to load module "Xpsb" (module does not exist, 0)
(EE) PSB(0): the stolenBase is:0x3f800000
(EE) PSB(0): screnIndex is:0;fbPhys is:0x3f800000;
fbsize is:0x007bf000
(EE) PSB(0): First SDVO output reported failure to sync or input is not trainded!!!
(EE) [dr] drmOpen failed.
(EE) PSB(0): [dri] DRIScreenInit failed. Disabling DRI.
(EE) [drm] Could not uninstall irq handler (EE) PSB(0): This driver currently needs DRM to operate.

I spent a long time arguing with sluggishness of the graphics when I first installed Ubuntu and at this point cannot remember whether I managed to get rid of gnome or not and this may be the cause of the problem.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to handle this? I am only a beginner linux user so obvious suggestions are welcome as well.

Also, I have no data on this computer, so reinstalling ubuntu is a valid option, albeit not something I'd like to do.
