Reinstall Grub

Hi, I have just reinstalled Windows to play PC games on, I knew that doing this would break grub and I have been using the live cd to try and fix it. I have used serveral tutorials like this here but I get the same errors. (http://maketecheasier.com/how-to-restore-grub-in-ubuntu/2008/04/11)


Error 15: File not found

When I try find /boot/grub/stage1.

Some of them do not have this command and I get:

Error 17: Cannot mount selected partition
When I try to use setup (hd0)

Help please?
