Hello all,
Ok Im very new to Linux...so please be gentle.
I recently intalled Ubuntu on a 40gig ATA HD. ( to test out ubuntu)
I have win XP on a sata raid Drive 600gb.
I went to try to boot into win xp so i could watch Netflix movies ( but couldnt seem to boot into the Raid drive... I checked Bios setting and cant seem to figure it out.)
My bios set up 1st boot option is set to Raid...2nd DVD.. and thats it.
I disabled ATA HD. and CD drive.
All the setting seem to be the way they were when I was only running Win XP.
SO I just dont get it.
My system is:
Asus SK8N MB
AMD64 opteron 2.0
Maxtor Raid 600 gig. ( win xp OS)
Western Digital ATA HD 40 Gig ( ubuntu OS)
8 gig ecc ram.
DVD RW 16x
CD RW 52x
ati AIW 128 Vid Card.
My Win XP is and upgrade version ( very very old version) so I have to use WIn 2k Cd to set up win xp.
If theres anything else I can provide let me know...but liek I said youll have to explain to me how to retrieve it from Ubuntu.
Please excuse my typos ...Im a lazy typist.
any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
And if nobody can help...can I get a realiable link with instructions on how to run Win Xp on Ubuntu...so I can watch Netflix DvD's and online?!....
