Upgrading from 8.04

Hello

I did an upgrade from 8.-04 to 9.xxx a few weeks ago, & got errors, so I re-installed my 8.10.


I now want to re-upgrade to 9.XX

but cannot find any suitable tutorials...


When I did it a few weeks ago, I saw an icon on the top of my screen, & it allowed me to start the upgrade process - But I can't see it now.


Any advise.

How do I know Which version I've actually got ??

EG :- Applications >> Accessories >> Terminal. >> ?????


Basically, When I go to the SYSTEM >> HELP option, it says I have 8.04

but thats just a web-page, with the 8.04 info on it. - Could be wrong ?

Ive got 8.04

Found out how to upgrade to 8.10 - Doing that now
