I am running Ubuntu 9.04 partitioned on Windows Xp. I am upgrading to Windows 7 and for right now I want to uninstall Ubuntu. I do not know how to. I installed it in Ubuntu not in the wubi (I think that's what it's called) in windows. I read that you uninstall it with your Windows XP disk and enter in a command, but I lost my XP disk and have no idea how to uninstall it. Any help? Thanks.

You could just boot to your Ubuntu LiveCD and use the Partition Editor to delete the Ubuntu install's partition.

Do I just insert my ubuntu disk while running it, go into the partition editor, and delete the partition? Will it get rid of the grub loader to?

I just found an old Xp disk, not the one I used to install XP on my computer but a different one, should I use this or use the Ubuntu live cd?

Thank you, I am going to uninstall it in the computer management but, I have 3 portions, 365.75, which I think is windows, 95.91gb which I think is the ubuntu partion, and 4.11Gb of something else, is this ubuntu itself? Also can I use a different XP disk then I originally used to install on my PC?
