Hey Friends,
Alston here, i have just installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my machine, and since i am working on J2ME i prefer sticking to my plain old netbeans 5.5.1, with mobiity pack.Of which i have downloaded the .bin installers and kept.
The issue that i am facing is:
Before installing, netbeans checks for a JVM on the machine, for which i tried to do the following
sudo apt-get install sun-java6-jdkAfter which i tried installing netbeans5.5.1, bt it was nt detecting the JVM. It was simply flashing a message
No Java Development Kit(JDK) was found on this system. Can you please suggest me as to wht i can do to overcome this issue.
Thanks,
