I've subscribed in the mailing list, I've signed up in Launchpad and sent a request for joining the team. My question is, is it too soon to get too pumped up or is the activity in this LoCo team dead??

Yeah! Our LoCo team shouldn't be dead.
So, ubuntu 9.1 is on the way!!
I am very excited. Aaand I can finally get Firefox 3.5!
