Hi everybody!

I faced the following problem:
I installed modem drivers for kernel 2.6.28-14. In a week or two modem stopped working. After a few moments I realised that now my kernel is 2.6.28-15.
So I installed a new driver for kernel .28-15.

Yesterday it happened again.

I stress out that I didn't run any updates myself.

Question: does Jaunty updates kernel automatically? If yes, how this can be disabled?

Running Jaunty server i386.

Jaunty updates everythin automatically if you tell it to. Check you update scheme under System->Admin->Software Sources. By the way, the default one is to notify.

But I run console server edition. There's no GUI. Hence no System->Admin->Software Sources :)

Odd indeed.
