It's not a true rolling release.

If you try to upgrade from one version to another without doing an install, the probability of success for most users is probably 50% or less. I think the chance of a good upgrade from one version to another without a new install is much less than in Debian or Ubuntu.

Thank you very much for the help. It sounds a lot like Zenwalk. Zenwalk has the current ranch which has set release dates like Ubuntu but it also the snapshot branch which basically turns Zenwalk into a rolling release. Sabayon is an interesting distribution that I will have to defiantly keep an eye on in the future. My only complaint with it is that it is really bloated.
