Firstly I am sure this information is someplace in the forums and I did try searching before posting.

I am preparing the move to Ubuntu from Vista 64 when the newest version is released. My system is a Q9550 with 8 gigs RAM (I had a reason at one point) and 225gig HDD.

I want to run just Linux but be able to dual boot later if needed.

My PC is used at home by myself and my wife with my kids (aged 7 and younger) sometimes play on my wifes account.

I read about Edubuntu for my kids. Can whatever it offers be installed in Ubuntu easily enough and they just have their own account(s),(I am guessing yes) or should I multi-boot with this?

How should I setup my partitions to allow for a possible dual boot/multi boot later if needed?

Thanks in advance.

I tried Edubuntu once. I can't remember it offering anything but a mission statement. Stick to Ubuntu and all the "Education" stuff is available.
