I recently updated my netbook with 9.04 NBR. No problems with installation, sound and webcam works, no problem with wireless connection and no problems with software.

The area I am having a problem is in Firefox with webpages that display Abdobe Flash. I went into synaptic manager and installed the programs related to flash. This did not help.

Can someone please help with them and tell me where I can get a version of Flash.

Thanks.

you wan't to install flashplugin-nonfree, if you have installed other packages related to flash then these might be conflicting with it... if so you can change this in about:config in firefox... or simply uninstall the other packages.

Hope this helps you,
Ben.

Thank you! I uninstalled what the flash versions I installed and then installed the flashplugin-nonfree. It works!

Another thing that you could do to give yourself flash support, in addition to some multimedia codecs and fonts is:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras
