My current setup for the HP Deskjet 842C works for the most part, but envelopes are not printed correctly from OpenOffice.org Writer ver 2.4.1. The orientation is incorrect no matter what orientation setting I use in File --> Printer Settings --> Properties. Could it be the printer driver?
Or a bug in Writer? Upon initial installation, when the printer was detected I chose the recommended driver, HP Deskjet 842C Foomatic/hpijs [en]. Should I be using a different driver? I would like to share the printer via Samba if that makes any difference in driver choice. I have been unable to find a bug report for this problem via google. Thanks for your input.
