I have Ubuntu 9.04, and fairly recently I installed KDE desktop, meaning I now have both GNOME and KDE.
I have had no problems with KDE whatsoever until recently. Whenever adding/removing widgets in plasma, it crashes, and I receive an error message informing me that Plasma has had a "fatal error"
It doesn't happen immediately when adding/removing widgets, but plasma will crash if I persist with changing things. As I said, the problem is only with plasma.
If it helps to know, I have a Dell Inspirion 1545, with
"00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Memory Controller Hub (rev 07)
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 07)"
for my graphics card.
