Can not Login in Ubuntu Server... Help

Hi,


I am new to Ubuntu... and Istalled Ubuntu server on My Dell Xps 630i 4GB.
I installed Ubuntu Server with all packages On %00 GB hard drive of my computer
there was not problem in installing..
after rebooting starting Ubuntu server Login name ok But passward...
doesnt take keyboard and.. 60 second time pass.... I get...

I can not login in server ... what am doing wrong..?


any help will be highly appreciated..

BTW - just because you don't see feedback from keyboard doesn't mean the data isn't going in - the password data doesn't echo - or display "*"...

In a server you are not gonna see the characters come up as you type..just enter your password completely as you set it and hit enter and you will be able to login.
