Hi,

Here's a couple questions for those of you who have tried both windows 7 and 9.10 on their netbooks:

1) Did you notice a big improvement in Flash performance from 9.04 to 9.10?
2) Does Flash work significantly better in Windows 7 compared to 9.10?

I know that it's Adobe's fault, more or less, that Flash performs worse on Linux systems, but I also heard that there will be significantly better intel video drivers for netbooks in 9.10, so I was wondering if specifically Flash performance changed. Also, I have never used Windows on a netbook so I'm curious as to how Flash performs on one.

Please don't reply with how Flash works fine on your Linux desktop because that doesn't help me at all.

Thanks in advance!

1) Yes it boots too fast.
2) I use FlashBlock, so only load flash components i clicked, but the same on both.

I've only tried 9.10 on my Acer Aspire One D150. Fast as hell, but Flash is still laggy, choppy and crap...
Everything runs fine in XP. So unfortunately I'm still in XP, just because of Flash not working in Linux.

I see not [significant] difference on my HP Mini 2133, however, the performance in Ubuntu Karmic Koala [with OpenChrome and extensive Xorg config] is slightly better than the Win7 one.
