View Full Version : [ubuntu] can't access jdeveloper in root

Hi everyone, i've recently changed to ubuntu and is great. But yesterday i installed jdeveloper 11.1.1g and now i can't access to it. On aplications doesn't appear a jdeveloper logo. The first and last time i enter to it, was when finish installing it and it started, but after i close it and get it on again.

The program has been installed in root, so i can't open it.
hope you can help me.

im not familiar with the app in question but if it made a group you can add yourself(your username) to that group.


sudo adduser <username> <group>

Hello dudes
I have story about installing ubuntu 11.10, I am new and beginner
in this kind of OS.
I like to work with it, but here is the problems:
I download jdevstudio11115install.bin and then I followed the installation instructions and everything was ok but I couldn't open jdeveloper or i have no clue to open it despite i installed and the terminal opened home/oracle/middleware/jdeveloper etc..
now i do not know from where should i start in windows you know just install and create shortcut in the desktop all you have to do is dblclick on it and start engine. does anyone here can help me to start my work step by step it badly necessary .
