Ok, so I wanna use my 8GB USB stick to install Ubuntu(which I have done before) but this time when I go to boot from it, it says boot error? any ideas? My BIOS is set to be able to boot from a USB, it always has been.

I'm using UNetbootin to put the files onto my USB. Any help will be much appreciated.

lol it says BOOT ERROR at the top left of my screen. If I SET my bios to boot the USB first, I get that, if I go to boot menu of my bios to manually boot from the USB I get BOOT ERROR. But here's the funny thing, I have had Ubuntu on my USB drive before and installed from it just fine. For some reason it won't anymore.

Data on USB corrupted?

The error appears before Grub, so it is either: corrupted data, faulty bios, or some unebootin issue.

well it's not my BIOS, and it couldn't be Ubuntu because I downloaded the files straight from Ubuntu.com

Could it be i'm missing files? Like a boot file?

with a flash or USB stick 4 GB or more my BIOS sees it as a hard disk. When I boot from one 4 GB or larger I have to go into BIOS under hard disk boot order and move the flash/usb stick to #1 position.

Haha, that's quirky! Makes sense, though! :)
