Hi how are you I am hoping some one in the community can help me with this issue. I have a Restore backup server installed at my home office.

Restore Backup Server Links:

Offical Site (http://sourceforge.net/projects/restore/)

How to I used (http://lifehacker.com/362062/create-your-own-cross+platform-backup-server)

Note: I am using the EE version of Restore.

There was deb installers for this but the site went down and so did the development they have no debs just cd and vm image files so I installed it the software work great.

I wanted to EOL upgrade the Xbuntu 7.04 to 9.04 so I used this official Guide Here.

EOLUpgrades Guides (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EOLUpgrades)

This worked and got my os upgraded to Xbuntu 9.04 but the server broke the ruby broke when I loged in i got a ruby rail fail to load I searched Google and tried to fix it but nothing worked I broke something in the config file i think but cant find the fix
i know the problem is in the ruby reinstall of the first upgrade install.

I really need to have this server up and updated I need to install more software which needs 9.04 so any ones help is well appreciated. :guitar:

Ruby Rails Error:

Application Error – Rails application failed to start properly (http://www.google.com/search?q=Application+Error+%E2%80%93+Rails+applica tion+failed+to+start+properly&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a)

The goal is to put Restore on a updated Xbuntu I will post a link for the download when finished. As the project Restore is not managed anymore and there are no updated debs.

block ruby rails install in upgrades so the configs are not reinstalled and break the ruby on server 7.04

OR

Reconfig ruby by copying old configs and moving to new install.

Some thing like this I don't know how to get this done I have tried the above with no luck:(

Hope Some One Can Help

Thanks Everyone Mike
