I haven't built a PC in years so I'm worried I'm not going with the best build. Some background info: I will be doing mostly gaming and torrenting and general tasks on it for the next year and then I'll be moving. Next year, I'll be starting law school and will probably not have that much time to do much gaming beside the occasional L4D or something. Also, I will have a crappy monitor (19", low resolution) for this year and won't be able to buy a new one until next year. With this in mind, I'm worried the build might be a bit overkill. So far, the build has come out to be around $700 and I wouldn't mind getting it cheaper, but if I have to sacrifice something that I know I will be upgrading in the future (<2 years) anyway, then I might as well splurge now, right? I've marked the one's I'm worried about over-kill for with a *. Also, let me know if I am unknowingly buying something incompatible with the rest of the build. Thanks in advance for any advice!
edit: This will be a Windows build, btw. Still love Linux!
