Hi

I'm a bit of a noob to ubuntu and I want to dual boot these 2 OSes. I previously had 7 and 9.04 dual booted and it was very easy to set up. I followed a youtube guide and did the following:

* Installed win7
* ran ubuntu live CD opened gparted and made a 10GB partition for ubuntu
* ran installation and at one of the menus there was an option to run win7 and ubuntu side by side chosing which on at startup
* installed using that option and everything was fine

The reason I didn't want to keep 9.04 was because compiz was very laggy and I was told that there were ATI driver issues and to use 8.04.

I'm now at stage 2 of what I did above (with the ubuntu 8.04 CD) but there's no option to run the 2 OSe side by side.

I'm a bit confused as to what to do, I just want it set up like before but with 8.04 + win7 instead of 9.04 + win7.

Thanks in advance guys :)
