Hello
I was use vlc as a normal user with no problems using synaptic for download and setup.
After a day i was try as root to play the same videos as i play in normal user mode and Vlc doesn't start at all and never play any video...
I was try to reinstall it but nothing..
Then i was run it with this command :
vlc --reset-config
And i got this:
VLC is not supposed to be run as root. Sorry.
If you need to use real-time priorities and/or privileged TCP ports
you can use vlc-wrapper (make sure it is Set-UID root first and
cannot be run by non-trusted users first).
Can anyone help me please as i am a new user to Linux?
Thank you
