Hey all,

Quick question. When I boot, my desktop effects are always suspended. I never get any warning notification to say they're being suspended, they just are. When I manually unsuspend them, they work perfectly until I reboot or restart KDE. Then it starts up with them suspended again.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

I'm on:

Kubuntu Karmic AMD64
ATI HD4850 + FGLRX from the repos
KDE 4.3.2

yeah I had the same issues with the desktop effects being disabled every time I started up. I just found a site that walks you through how to do it. It is extremely simple.
