Hello everyone,
First of all, I don't know if this is the correct place to post this. If not, please excuse me.
So, my problem is that I followed the instruction of
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/PDFedit
I followed step 2, which basically said:
Method 2
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install alien
wget -c http://downloads.sourceforge.net/pdfedit/pdfedit-0.3.1-1.i386.rpm
sudo alien -iv pdfedit-0.3.1-1.i386.rpm
Launching PDFedit
Afterwards, you should be able to launch PDFedit with the command
pdfedit
So all the comands worked well. But then I typed pdfedit on the terminal and it said "no such direcotry". I went to "Applications" in my dekstop and on the "office" section, PDFedit was there as any other program. The thing is I double click on it and nothing happens. I also tried to right click a pdf file to choose PDFedit as the application to use when openning the file, but PDFedit was not listed at all.
I'm using Ubuntu 9.04...
Any recommendations. I'm kinda new at Linux and I've read that PDFedit is a really hard-to-use, not-intuitive application, so please go easy on me. =P.
Many thanks in advanced.:)
