it seems to me like ubuntu without (or with a screwed) window decorator

edit to avoid confusion : i don't mean the os on the back (that's obviously ubuntu), i mean the way windows look

It's not the OS, it's browser which will be included. Yes, I saw it yesterday, yes, I busted the myth yesterday.

You can get the beta version (http://dev.chromium.org/getting-involved/dev-channel) for Linux (32 and 64 bit) from the
Google Chrome website.

not sure "just a browser" is correct. it has buttons for desktop-related tasks. since "the browser" is most of what chrome OS will be, i'd say this is a pretty good preview.

Yeah, it has the time and a "network manager" in the browser. It's a bit more than your
average chromium build, but not a standalone OS... yet.
