Hey guys i have a problem

I have been running Ubuntu 9.04 from a 320gb external hard drive, i have set the boot menu so if it is plugged in my computer will automatically boot ubuntu, and if not it goes straight to vista.

Tonight i tried to dual boot the external hard drive with fedora 11, when i installed it, i chose to shrink the current size down 100gb to fit fedora (had plenty of space), but now when i boot with the external hard drive plugged in, i am taken straight to fedora 11, with no boot menu allowing me to choose which distro i want.

Is there a way i can go through fedora and edit the grub so i once again have access to ubuntu?

Cheers.

Edit Fedora's grub menu (/boot/grub/grub.conf, if I'm not mistaken) and add Ubuntu. You should be able to copy the relevant text from Ubuntu's /boot/grub/menu.lst and paste it into Fedora's grub.conf.

Forgive me for i am new to linux, but i can't access the grub.conf, even if i try to access it in the terminal as root it says permission denied, i can access ubuntu's menu.list fine though.

i have managed to access grub.conf with

su -c "vi /boot/grub/grub.conf"
# grub.conf generated by anaconda

# Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file

but i have no idea what to do with it, here is the menu.lst from fedora, they are very different. When i boot the computer it goes straight to fedora, if i choose "other" it says bootmngr doesnt exist press alt+ctrl+delete to restart

I have recieved support at the fedora forums, if anyone else gets this problem, here is for your reference how it was fixed (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=232064).
