Any Magic Card enthusiast on UF?
With some little afford I managed to put a Black Vampire Deck together (71 cards).
22 vampire creatures and 1 non-vampire creature.
15 spells (instant and sorcery).
6 enchanments.
2 Eqiupment Artifacts.
1 Planeswalker
24 lands, 2 of them special lands.
It should (hopefully) be able to hold against many different kinds of deck.
One of the problem seems to be against enchantment decks, as black have non to little against enchantments.
I could use some ideas and thoughts how to improve the deck, or hear what's completely way off with this deck.
I can first test the deck next week.
Thanks.

im using my phone to browse right now, so i cant help much.
what i will say is to cut it down to 60 cards. depending on what the two non-base lands are, you could maybe drop a swamp. most likely though, you're gonna wanna cut the most expensive creatures.
if your deck is made of cheap mana cost creatures, you should be able to beat an enchantment deck before it gets going.

I haven't looked at your deck yet, but I used to be really into MTG.
Where are you going to play this deck? Is this Type2, or casual or what? I ask this, because I don't know what Type2 looks like these days.
Absolutely cut down to 60 cards at all costs. You want to increase your chances of pulling the cards you need when you need them. I'll have a look at it a little later, so check this thread later.
EDIT: Just opened it and saw that the first card was dark ritual. Not type2 then :p. I'm guessing casual then, because real Type 1 is ridiculous and I believe DR is banned in Extended.

I used to be really into MTG until the start to print the planeswalker.
That whats just too much for me, but I'm thinking of play again, I have an old Scepterchant that I guess I put somewhere in Legacy.
On the deck, cut down the Equipments unless they're really necessary (e.g. You win as soon as they hit the ground) and have a good amount of fetcher (6-7) to find them early in the game.
I would have to take a deeper look at your deck, but I'm guessing that you have too many lands.

Yep, it's casual play.
Though the tournament we make in our town (+ neighbor town), we don't use all these restrictions you'll find in real tournaments and X, Y, Z decks (many of us found them redicules).
Keep up all the good suggestions. :KS

wow, flashbacks. I used to play magic quite a bit. Still have a lot of my cards. They were worth some money then, I wonder about now. I started playing when "The Dark" came out, and I think I stopped an expansion or two after 7th edition.

One of my favorite cards. I also have 4 original print Vasuvan Doppelganger's signed by the artist. ... Equipment artifacts? Yeah, I've been out of it a while. ;) I used to have a black drain-life deck, it was brutal. If I find it I will post the contents, but some of the cards may not even be printed anymore.

A lot and I mean a lot of changed since the seventh, for the better and for the worse. There must be 20 new abilities since then at least, and a dozen rule change as well.

Those you can send to me via mail

I used to play back in 2005-2008, barely remember any of it. somehow it led to Warhammer and Warhammer 40k...boy were they expensive hobbies.
MTG: I liked to play a forest deck, sometimes mixing in a bit of blue or white if I felt the need.
As for warhammer it got crazy I had a bunch of stuff
Warhammer: first was dwarves, and then a small skaven army. Dwarves were always my favorite and could always take out my friends High Elf army. Skaven never got off the ground and we were switching to 40K.
Warhammer 40K: Army of choice was Eldar, I picked them because everone else was either chaos or space marines. No of my friends ever realy beat me in head to head games. I think it was because I used a fast atteck army and they always geared up for a space marine battle.
Later I started a vanilla space marine and personilized imperial gaurd collection for just painting. I never really made lists to play with them but most likely had well over 3000 points worth of playable pieces. And yes its a lot of imperial guard.
Talking about this stuff makes me feel geeky.

I got some of those cards as a Christmas present in high school. The only thing I remember is the Thorn Elemental.

I quit with Onslaught. Still have four decks around for the occasional fun games: the classic MUD, a BR Reanimator, a WWu and an UG Madness (contents available for those interested).
Now for the show-off: I used to be a Level 2 judge, I own a Megaton Hammer signed by Kai Budde and a Balance foil signed by Rune Horvik, as well as the whole P9 (not signed in case I want to sell them for good $$$ someday).

Type 1 has been the only worthy type ever since the Tempest block left Extended.

+1
I had a forest elf army (around 6000 points), I really loved to paint them. The problem was to find anyone to play with. So I drop the warhammer thing.

To make up for it, a less glorious fact: I failed my Level 3 twice. :p

I remember I used to own one of those magic game card thingies. I gave it to my friend though. Or maybe I still have it... I don't know, but I remember I had a fungus deck and I got like 10 mini dudes everytime I did something... I forgot...
Well, good luck on collecting them

I actually want to sell my cards.
Last time I checked the collection was worth around €300. Thing is no one ever gives you cash for them and I want cash.

You should let us know what other black cards you have, if you can. That way we can suggest ones to put in. For now, I'll focus on taking 11 out of that list:
2 x Orzhov Basilica
- Do you even have anything with a white mana cost? 22 lands is good for 60 cards anyway.
2 x Blade of the Bloodchief
Equipment is slow, so it needs to be good. You don't have THAT many ways to put creatures into the graveyard, so you wont see this trigger very often.
3 x Dragon Shadow
Enchant creatures generally suck also. Look at it this way: If your opponent has a destroy creature spell and uses it on a creature with this on it, he just traded one card to ruin two of yours. Plus fear isn't even going to be useful all the time.
2 x Kor Dirge
This only redirects damage from a creature to another creature. So, it wont save your *** or hurt your opponent.
2 x Ascendant Evincar
Just because he's a legend does NOT make him good. I would never recommend paying 6 mana for a 3/3 flier unless he did something really great. This guy make actually help your opponent if he has black creatures. And like I said, this is just not worth the cost.

I love it, but haven't been able to play much up here at college. my roommate isn't into it, and to my knowledge theres no clubs for it. I used to play with one of my floor mates last year every night, but he transfered...I miss it, it's a good hobby.
