Can I download the beta and then simply update my way to Ubuntu v9.10?

Hi folks :)

Simple question. I was just wondering if it was possible to download the beta version of Ubuntu 9.10 and then simply update my way to the final version so that by the time the final version does actually arrive, I will already have it and won't need to download/install Ubuntu a second time.

you can do
update-manager -d in a terminal. This will upgrade your existing install from 9.04 to 9.10.
