How to change font colors in ubnutu studio theme?

I'm using ubuntu 9.04 with the ubuntu studio theme which I really like but there's one thing I find very annoying. Every link or email address has this font with dark blue color which makes it real hard to read on a dark background. This happens especially in Thunderbird (yes I installed another theme) but in other places too. Is there a way to change the color of this font manually? I can't find a solution.

nice to know I'm not the only one. Firefox and Thunderbird both. damn hard to read and nothing I go in Gnome changes it (KDE 4 yes, but we won't get into that).

has to be an answer somewhere.
