I have a single disk partitioned 3 ways: one for XP, one for Ubuntu 9.04 root and one for Ubuntu /home. I have just purchased a second, identical hard drive to mirror the existing drive.
I am looking for the most straightforward way to use Linux software RAID. I understand this is done through mdadm. I know how to clone with clonezilla--can I clone my existing drive to the new one, then configure mdadm to use both drives as RAID1? I would like to avoid reinstalling my OS(es) if at all possible. Thank you!
