my wireless for my thinkpad t61p was working fine (i forgot the card name, can post later when i get home), though it was spotty in the library. so, i looked at the hardware drivers menu and there was a propiertary driver for madwifi that said enable only if youre having trouble. so i thought id try it out, worst case id just disable it again. wrong. i enabled it, and wireless no longer works. and now its not even on the hardware drivers menu so i cant disable it... im assuming this stuff is a front end for a config file... can someone tell me where/what to edit in the config file?
